1. Limited Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to indoor cycling equipment, smart trainers, GPS bike computers, sensors, and training accessories purchased directly from aurastarmemorials. It covers manufacturing defects and shipping errors for the original purchaser. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. Warranty Period and Coverage Scope
The voluntary warranty period is 12 months from delivery for manufacturing defects. This is in addition to your statutory rights, including the 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
3. What Is Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Shipping damage (reported within 48 hours of delivery)
- Incorrect shipments or missing items
- Electronic component failures under normal use
Approved claims are resolved via repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
4. What Is Not Covered
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, or neglect
- Improper installation, maintenance, or unauthorised modifications
- Normal wear and tear (e.g. tyre wear, belt wear, battery degradation)
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Damage from extreme environments or failure to follow care instructions
- Third-party accessories or compatibility issues
5. Warranty Claim Process
- Contact our support team with your order number and description of the issue
- Provide photographic or video evidence where requested
- Receive RMA authorisation and return instructions
- Return the product in accordance with our instructions
- Claim is reviewed and resolution issued (repair, replacement, or refund)
6. Remedy and Resolution
We will assess each claim individually and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement with an equivalent product, or refund. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.
7. Return and Inspection
Return shipping is covered by aurastarmemorials for valid warranty claims relating to defects or our error. For faulty goods rejected under your statutory rights, we will arrange and pay for collection.
8. Manufacturer Warranty Coordination
Many of our products carry separate manufacturer warranties. We will coordinate with manufacturers where applicable to ensure you receive the full benefit of any additional coverage provided by the brand.
9. Safety and Compliance
All products meet UK safety and regulatory standards. Warranty handling complies with applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
10. Commercial Orders
Bulk or commercial orders may have separate warranty terms agreed at the time of purchase. Please contact our team to discuss commercial warranty requirements.
11. Limitation of Liability
This voluntary warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights. Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Our liability for breach of this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product value.
12. Warranty Transfer
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser who holds proof of purchase from aurastarmemorials.
13. Record Keeping
Please retain your order confirmation, invoice, and delivery documentation to support any warranty claim. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
